Lois Bowman, 81, formerly of Clintwood, Virginia passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 in Chesapeake, VA.Born on August 29, 1939 in Clintwood, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Snoda Mooney Bowman and Alvin "PONY" Bowman .

She was preceded in death by her loving son, Kenneth Wayne Atwell and niece Cynthia Conte Mozes.

She is survived by her loving sister, Mavis J. Presterl, her loving niece Vicki Williams (Harvey) great nieces Nichole Williams, Erica Williams Renfro(Wayne) and great nephew Harvey Williams, Jr., as well as great nieces and nephews of Virginia Beach, VA, Aunts June and Ruth Lilly and Uncle Amos Mooney and well as many friends most notably; Susie, Nancy and Lois.

Lois enjoyed a great love for all animals especially her YORKIE dog "CUPID".  Lois loved the easy way of country living that the people of Clintwood offered so abundantly.

A service will be held in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, 30 September 2020 at 2 pm with Pastor Lynn Vanover officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1 pm.  Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
