Lloyd Shelton Mullins age 73, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at his home. Mr. Mullins attended Clintwood High School, a Veteran of the US Army and former employee of Kingsport Press.  He was a loving uncle and loved farming, music and coon hounds.

Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his parents, Creed and Grace Lucille (Meade) Mullins; 3 brothers, Luther Leroy Mullins, Rayden Monroe Mullins, George Buford Mullins; half-brother Kermit Hibbitts; one sister, Dora Selina Browning; 3 nephews, Gary Browning, Mickey Mullins and Mikell Mullins.

Survivors include 5 nephews, Rodney (Maranda) Mullins of Wise, Virginia, John (Mae) Mullins, Wayne Browning, Ricky (Tammy) Mullins all of Clintwood and Larry (Veronica) Browning of Myrtle Beach SC; 6 nieces, Mary (Carroll) McCoy, Elizabeth (Gregory) Stanley, Pamela (Robert) Stanley all of Clintwood, Nina (Samuel) Page of Coeburn, VA, Susan (Augusto) Co of Dallas, TX and Allyson (Richard) Dickinson of Richmond, VA; one great- great-nephew, Liahm Stanley along with several other great nieces and nephews, host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 25th at 7 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Manie Strouth officiating.  Visitation will begin at 5 PM until time of service.  Family and friends will meet at Creed Mullins Family Cemetery on Georges Fork Sunday March 26th at 2 PM for a military graveside service conducted by VFW Post #8979. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harmon Mullins and Elbert Ray Mullins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the family.
