Lisa Ann Tompkins, age 56, passed away Monday, March 22, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer, her loving family by her side. Lisa was a member of the Clintwood Church of Christ, a 1978 graduate of Clintwood High School and a graduate of Virginia Highlands Community College nursing program.

Survivors include her parents, Shirley and Ella Mae Mullins of Clintwood; daughters, Jada Johnson of Clintwood and Joella and husband Columbus Allen Hale of Nora; brothers, Wade Mullins and wife Linda of Tampa, Florida, Phillip Mullins and wife Lori of Ashburn, Virginia; grandchildren, Adian Hale, Kyle Hale, Lilly Hale, Jayden Johnson and Tristan Mullins.

Family will receive friends Friday, March 25th in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 26th with Minister Jack Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
