Linda Stanley, 49, passed away at her home in Clintwood after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Chicago, IL the daughter of Murel and Mary Benson Wilde. She was a real estate agent, had worked as an insurance agent and was a nail technician. She loved riding and taking care of her horses, and was a member of the Pine Mountain Trial Riders Club. Her father and a son Charles Edward Amore preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Donald Stanley, Clintwood; her mother, Mary B. Ludwig, Michigan; her daughter, Erika Brodine, Clintwood; a step son, Donnie Stanley, Michigan; step daughter, Venessa Norris, TN; three brothers, Johnny Wilde and wife Tina, Ronald Wilde and wife Cindy, and Patrick Wilde, all of Michigan; her sister Mary Ann McCarty and husband Mark, Michigan; one grandson, Donnie Hall; six step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Frances Buchanan, Clintwood; father-in-law, Wiley Stanley, Clintwood; five brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, her special aunt Joann and uncle Jack.
