Linda Lou Boggs age 65, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. She was of the Freewill Baptist faith. Mrs. Boggs was born in Wise County to the late Howard and Pauline Phillips.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Janice Phillips.

Survivors include her husband, Lester "Hot Shot" Boggs of Pound; two brothers, Daniel Phillips of Big Stone Gap, Virginia and Roger Phillips of Pound; three sisters, Kathy Brickey of Dungannon, Virginia, Carol Gentry and Caterina Phillips both of Coeburn, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 21st, 7:00 PM at the Glady Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Danny Mullins and Randy Carter officiating. Family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM.  Services will be conducted Friday, September 22nd, 1:00 PM at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens with entombment to follow.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
