Lexie Royce Mullins age 73 passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Norton Community Hospital.

Mr. Mullins was born in Dickenson County but lived most of his life in Manassas, Virginia before returning to Clintwood.  He was a retired painter and an avid outdoorsman.

Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his parents, Huston and Dosha Mullins; wife, Flo Mullins; son John Carl; one brother, Carl Mullins; one sister Ida Ewing.

Survivors include two sons, James Carl and wife Rene of Aldie, Virginia and Joel Carl of Front Royal, Virginia; two daughters, Debra Puckett and Mary Steelman both of Marshall, Virginia; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Carl of Warrenton, Virginia; one brother, Roland Mullins of Conway, South Carolina; two sisters, Shirley Mann of Conway, South Carolina and Rita Garland and husband Fred of Townsend, Tennessee; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
