Leeann Campbell's Obituary
Leann Marie Johnson Campbell age 47, passed away at her home Monday, May 8, 2017 following a two-year battle with cancer. Leeann was a 1987 graduate of Clintwood High School and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother, nannie, daughter and sister.
Leeann was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Rufus Clay, Sonny Johnson and her aunt Joyce Martin.
Survivors include her father, Dewey (Chuck) Johnson of Clintwood; mother, Darla Gail Carty (Sammy) of Coeburn; her son Sonny Willis of Coeburn; daughter, Amber D. Willis of Clintwood; granddaughter, Leanndra Willis; three brothers, Charles (Chuck) Johnson (Stacie) of Clintwood, James Carty (Jessica) of Clintwood, and Clay Carty (Becky) of Coeburn; two sisters, Angela Johnson of Coeburn and Pamela Moore (Steve) of Clintwood; 1 nephew and 7 nieces; a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dickenson County Hospice.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Rugsby Church, Caney Ridge with Brandon White and Gary Stanley officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM until time of service. Graveside service will be Thursday, May 11th, 1:00 PM at Rugsby Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kendall Mullins, Gary McClanahan, Jason Moore, Ritchie Ramey, Johnnie Culbertson and Donnie Culbertson.
