Obituary

Lee Mullins, age 80, passed away Wednesday, April 21st at Holston Valley Medical Center. Mr. Mullins was a life long resident of Dickenson County where he was a merchant for many years. Mr. Mullins was a member of the Georges Fork Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cosby Mullins. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mullins; one son, Timothy Mullins and wife Tonya of Johnson City, Tennessee; one daughter, Lisa Hinely and husband, Chris of Waycross, Georgia; two grandchildren, Carissa Mullins and Nathaniel Mullins. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 24th, 1:00 PM at the Georges Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Harold Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Mullins Cemetery, The Lake Road, Clintwood. Bob Martin, Wiley Lothry, Hurley Collins, Larue Fleming, Bob Mullins, Jim Kelley, Greg Stanley and Roger Wright will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Sam Fleming, Clyde Hill, Farley Dutton, Dr. N.C. Ratliff, Jerry Steele, J. R. White, Chris Hinely, Tim Mullins, and Nathaniel Mullins. Visitation will be at the church Friday beginning at 6:00 PM with a song service at 7:00 PM.
