Laura Diane McFall Buchanan age 47 passed away Wednesday June 3, 2026, at Ridgecrest Manor, Duffield, VA. She was a lifelong resident of Clintwood, a graduate of Clintwood High School and was employed at McFall Excavating. After an accident she had resided in Ridgecrest Manor for past several years making many friends with residents and caregivers there. She enjoyed texting with family and friends and staying in touch with her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her brother Jarred McFall, her grandparents Hubert and Dollie McFall and Wilburn Haynes and Edith Haynes Ramey.

Survivors include her father Don McFall of Clintwood, her mother Joyce Haynes, Norton, VA. her daughter Madison Rose and husband Chris, Wasilla, AK. her son Grayson Buchanan and Megan, Clintwood, One brother Ben McFall and wife Tonya, Clintwood, grandchildren Liam, Stella and Gus Rose, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and host of other relatives, a special friend Brandon Hicks, father of her children Patrick Buchanan and a special thanks to all the staff of Ridgecrest Manor.

A memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday June 13, 2026 at the McFall Family Cemetery Osborne Gap section of Clintwood with Tim Mullins and Frank Hall officiating.
