Laura I. Ewing born on Feb. 26, 1940. She grew up in Clintwood and the surrounding area. She lived in Northern Virginia all her adult life. She passed away on February 9, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Huston Mullins and Dosha Mullins, her first husband James C. Farmer, widowed husband, Kenneth Ewing Sr. and her brother James Carl Mullins. She is survived by her children, Chris Farmer, Phil Farmer, Daughter in law Maureen Farmer, Kenneth Ewing Jr, Scharyl Williams, Steve Ewing, Mary Vrosovich , and Joe Ewing. Her Grandchildren Olivia Farmer, Madelyn Farmer, Elaina Farmer, Owen Farmer, Corrine Ewing, Joe Ewing, Scott Ewing, Aaron Ewing, Nicole Ewing, Tanisha House , Janeyl Wilson, Tuesday Wheeler, Clyde Dunfee, Jessie Dunfee, Ricky Dunfee, and Alex Dunfee. Her siblings, Roland Mullins, Shirley Manns, Rita Garland, Lexie Mullins. Funeral Services will be held at Clintwood Funeral Home on Sunday Feb. 12, 2012. Visitation will be at 6 pm. The Service will be at 7 pm. Graveside services will be held on Monday Feb. 13th at 11am at The Powers Family Cemetery.
