Laudeena Bailey Puckett left this life on March 26, 2015. She was born to the late Floyd and Bessie Bailey on September 6, 1929. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Puckett; and her son Colonel Paul R. Puckett. Laudeena was a member of the Clintwood Church of Christ. She is survived by her children, Connie Stallard of Clintwood, VA; Peg Lester and Husband David of Bristol, VA; and Ross K. Puckett of Clintwood, VA; grandchildren, Cainan Mullins, Andy Stallard ,Megan Pomfret, Rachel Stallard, and Stephen Boggs, seven surviving great-grandchildren; she is also survived by her sister Debbie Blevins and husband Wes of New Castle, VA. Funeral services for Laudeena Bailey Puckett will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 28, 2015 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Phipps Memorial Cemetery Clintwood, VA. Pallbearers will be Cainan Mullins, Andy Stallard, Travis Blevins, Richard Mullins, Lowell Perry, and Gary Hall. Honorary Pallbearers will be Candias Hall, Margaret Phipps, Lil Moore, Kay Perry, Ella Fay Puckett, and Patsy Craven. Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 28, 2015 until time of service. Flowers will be accepted as well as donations to the Southwest Virginia Cancer Center Patient Assistant Fund 671 Highway 58E Norton, VA 24273, and the Clintwood Volunteer Fire Department P.O. Box 455 Clintwood, VA 24228.
