William Lawrence Winters "Larry" age 44 passed away peacefully at his home Thurs. March 12, 2015. He was born in Baltimore Maryland and later resided in Florida. He was a loving husband and Father, a football player for years and team owner of the Cape Fear minor league team. Larry coached Pop Warner football for 15 years. He was of the Christian Faith. He is preceded in death by his father Patrick Winters. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Milgrim Winters of McClure, VA.; mother Rita Winters, Punta Gorda , FL; son, Justin Winters, Punta Gorda, FL; Two daughters, Tiffany Bentz (Brandon) of Portland, IN; and Hailey Winters, McClure, VA.; brother, Patrick Winters of Punta Gorda, FL.; Three sisters, Anna Winters, of Florida, Nancy Phillips(Dave) Dante, VA.; and Mary Vantil(John) Daytona, FL. Two grandchildren, Trinity Bentz, and Adley Winters; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services for William Lawrence Winters will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2015 with Pastor Darrell Milgrim officiating. Burial will follow at the Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, VA. Pallbearers will be Michael Phillips, Matthew Bellamy, Brad Milgrim, Chris Milgrim, Joshua Dearry, and Hunter Dearry. Honorary Pallbearer will be Brandon Bentz. The family will receive friends Monday evening March 16, 2015 after 6PM at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with a song service at 7 PM.
