Lenton Kyle Mullins, age 66, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tennessee. Mr. Mullins was the son of the late Hassel and Fannie Fleming Mullins. He was owner and operator of Mullins Construction Company for forty years. He attended Mountain View Church and loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and his friends. Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hassell Mullins: three brothers, Leon Mullins, Harry D. Mullins and Darrell Mullins; one sister, Laureena Triplett. Survivors include one son, Steven Robinson of Alexandria, Virginia and one daughter Kimberly Ann Mullins of Clintwood, Virginia. Other survivors are three brothers and three sisters; Ray Mullins of Marion, Ohio, Doyle Mullins, Clintwood, Virginia, Ronnie Mullins, Detroit, Michigan, Gaye Smith, Clintwood, Virginia, Charlena Rose, Kingsport, Tennessee, and Lois June Farmer, Marion, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends including two special friends, Kelly Robinson and Della Smith. Funeral Services will be conducted, Sunday, October 24th, 2:00 PM at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Milgrim and Larry Younce officiating. Burial will follow at the Mullins Family Cemetery, Clintwood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Rick Mullins, Randy Mullins, Robbie Mullins, Sr., Robbie Mullins, Jr., Seth Baker and Kendall Mullins. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Wright, Sam Stone, Freddie Salyer and Harold Hicks. Family will receive friends at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, October 23rd, at 6:00 PM with a song service beginning at 7:00 PM.
