Kenneth Eugene Mullins, age 70, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 at the Dickenson Community Hospital, Clintwood, Virginia. Mr. Mullins was a Veteran of the United States Army and a former employee of Dickenson County Sheriff's Office. He was baptized at the Church of Christ in 1969. Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Vadna Blair Mullins; two brothers, Bob "Mousy" Mullins and Garnett Mullins; one sister, Juette Mullins. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Mullins of Haysi, Virginia; son, Jeffery; daughter, Diana Lynn; two brothers, Donnie Joe Mullins and wife, Nancy of Bee, Virginia and Paul J. Mullins and wife Betty of Clintwood and a special brother, Wayne Hoskins and wife Judy of Rutledge, Tennessee; four sisters, Jean Phipps and husband, Larry, Laura Phipps and husband, Chester, Katherine Grant and husband, Wayne all of Clintwood and Shirley Keel of Bealton, Virginia. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
