Obituary



Frances Kaye Chase of Wytheville, Virginia passed away at the home of her daughter on July 15, 2016 surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lacy and Alma Swindall Davis; daughter, Melinda Liz Dotson; brothers, Garland Davis, infant brother Lacy Davis Jr. and Larry Davis; and stepson, Charles William Chase Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Bill Chase; sons, Bobby Kerns Stanley and wife Evon of Clintwood, VA; William Lacy Stanley of Clintwood, VA; and Kenneth Douglas Stanley and wife Jan of Clintwood, VA; daughter, Kimberly Carol Chase and husband Jerry of Wytheville, VA; brother, David and Pat Davis of Clintwood, VA; sister, Sheila and Cecil Hensely of Myrtle Beach SC; sister-in-law, Shirley Davis of Abingdon, VA; brother-in-law Joe and Susan Chase of Christiansburg, VA; grandchildren, Wess (Londa) Stanley, David (Mary Ann) Stanley, Jamie (Brandi) Stanley, Kevin (Amy) Stanley, Devin (Emily) Stanley, Morgan Stanley, Sara (Adam) Miller, Nathan (Lindsey) Isaacs, Kendra Stanley, Alissa Stanley, Robert (Kelly) Mullins, Daniel Mullins, Annabelle (Johnathan) Pannell, Stuart Chase, and Alex Chase; great Grandchildren, Madison and Bethany Davis, Oakley and Scarlett Stanley, Savannah and Shelby Stanley, Bryce, Sydnee, Seaton, and Kallen Stanley, Jordan and Lachlan Stanley, Max Avery Wyatt Davis, Jacqueline Miller, Charlie and Will Mullins, Andrea and Brandon Pannell, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services for Frances Kaye Chase will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Glenn Sluss officiating.  Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Saturday, July 16 until time of service.  Graveside service will be conducted Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Garland B. Davis Cemetery Camp Creek Road Clintwood.  Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  Those wishing to go in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at Clintwood Funeral Home at 1:30 PM Sunday
