Karen Fleming Stone age 78, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Stone was a loving wife and mother and a member of Valley View Freewill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Chase Stone; father, Zed Fleming, mother, Mildred F. Romans and stepfather, Thomas Romans; brother, Douglas Fleming; sister, Gloria F. Johnson.

Survivors include her sons, Brian Stone and wife Sherrie and Eric Stone. Special thanks to caregivers Betty Furr, Paula Novak and Sherry Mullins.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 1st, 11 am at Valley View Freewill Baptist Church with Pastors Lynn Vanover, Lester Mullins and Joe Glenn Sluss officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will follow in the Stone Family Cemetery, South of the Mountain Road, Clintwood. Pallbearers will be Drew Fleming, Matthew Fleming, Brandon Fleming, Garrick Fleming, Brady Fleming, Andrew Wright, Michael Johnson, Toby Johnson, Benjamin Mullins and Daniel Mullins.
