Karen Lynn Flint born January 11, 1955 passed away October 26, 2023 at Holston Valley Hospital. Karen was a lifelong resident of Clintwood VA, where she graduated from Clintwood High School. She attended Valley View Freewill Baptist and Clintwood United Methodist Church.

Karen was preceded in death by her son Jarvis Flint, mother Bonnie Flint and father E.R. Flint; sisters Judy Blanton and Mary Jenkins, a niece Donna Phipps Triplett.

Survivors include her sister Rebecca Tucker (Joe) of Powhatan VA; brother in law John C. Blanton of Clintwood VA;  nieces Melanie Blanton Menefee (Craig) of Bluefield VA,  Adrienne Fountain(Matt) of Powhatan VA; nephews Greg Phipps (Melody) of Farmville VA and  Jeremy Speer (Holly) of Chesterfield VA; grandchildren,  Mason and Madison Menefee and Jason Flint;  great niece Kaleigh Menefee, great nephews Adam Speer, Grady Speer, Matthew Fountain, Charlie Fountain.

We will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday April 6,2024, visitation at 1:00 PM and service at 2:00 PM at Clintwood Colley Funeral Home.  Butch Lambert will officiate.
