June Stanley Vanover passed away Thurs. August 1, 2024 at Norton Community Hospital with her loving son and daughter in law by her side. She was born July 10, 1945 the daughter of the late Lazarus and Nina Stanley. She was a 1964 graduate of Clintwood High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Freel Vanover, son Terry Artrip, three brothers, Donald, Glenn and Roger Stanley, in-laws Claudie Hamilton, Norman Vanover, Dicy Stanley, Jeanette and James Lewis and Kathy Tiller.

Survivors include her son David Vanover and wife Karan, Pound, VA. granddaughter Ashley Stilner and Gauge, Johnson City, TN. One sister Dollie Hamilton, Sandy Ridge, VA., one brother Jennings Vanover and Jo, Chapel Hill, PA. In-laws Toni Spahn and Ida Tuller, Clintwood, her aunt Martha June Hamilton, an uncle Hobert"Big PaP" Stanley, Clintwood, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank all who called, messaged or visited, the Staff of Norton Community Hospital, Pastor Willie Stanley, upon her request she wished for no public services.
