Judy Carol Robinson Phipps age 78, passed away Friday April 5, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Vannie Yates Robinson. She was a loving mother and mamaw that enjoyed time with her family along with collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia.

She is preceded in death by her parents along with 3 brothers and 5 sisters,

Survivors include her sons; Hancel Phipps and wife Jennifer of Smithfield, NC. And Darus Phipps of Clintwood, one daughter Trisha Cox of Clintwood, two grandchildren Logan Cox and Bailee Cox. Sisters Helen Solesbee and husband David of Amisville, VA. Martha Elkins of Abingdon, VA. and Pina Waters and husband Eddie of New Windsor, MD.  A special thanks to caregiver Patricia Rose.

Funeral Services for Judy Carol Robinson Phipps will be conducted at 7 PM Monday April 8, 2024 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Eva Murphy officiating. Burial will follow Tue. 11:00 AM April 9, 2024 with graveside service at Phipps Memorial Cemetery main street Clintwood. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Procession is to meet at the funeral home at 10:45. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 PM till service time. In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations be made to cancer charity of choice.
