Obituary

Judy Kaye Hawkins, beloved wife of Wade Hawkins, was born on August 21st, 1969 and passed away on April 13th, 2021. She was a registered nurse, having earned a bachelor's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Arbutus Belcher; niece Lindsay Duffy; nephews John Duffy and Travis Wright;Her and Wade's two unborn children.

She is survived by her husband, Wade Hawkins and daughter Sarah Grace Hawkins, both of Clintwood; brothers Walter (Melissa) Belcher of Wise and Bruce (Caroline) Belcher of Haysi; father and mother-in-law Douglas and Alpha Grace Hawkins of Clintwood; sister-in-law Teresa (Scott) Mullins of Clintwood; brother-in-law Wes (Melissa) Hawkins of Ansbach, Germany; nieces Jessica (Wes) Dotson and Faith Mullins, of Clintwood, Brittany (Jess) Ramey of St. Paul, Rebekka (Aaron) Jacobs of Loganville, GA and Lauryn Belcher of Wise; nephews Jonathan (LaShae) Mullins of Bristol, TN and Andrew (Sabrina) Mullins of Wise; great-nephews Colton Jacobs and Sean Mullins; great-nieces Haven Ramey, Paisley Ramey, and Emmeryn Duffy; and special family friend Lexie Palmer. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

A private family service will be conducted Saturday, April 17, 2021 with David O'Quinn officiating. She will be interred in the Hawkins Family Cemetery, Hawkins Farm Rd. Clintwood. Billy Edwards, Tony Edwards, Mathew Edwards, Chris Hawkins, Kevin Phillips and Brad Murphy will serve as pallbearers. Lon Coleman, Ronnie Belcher, Wayne Dotson, Thomas Bryant, Bob Bryant, Paul Bryant, Ike Bryant, and Dan Stiglitz will serve as honorary pallbearers.
