Judy Carol Mullins, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at St. Joseph Health Care in Lexington, Kentucky. Mrs. Mullins was a member of the Clinchco Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as song leader and Sunday school teacher. She had been a member of the church since 1981 and was baptized on May 3, 1964 at the Clintwood Bible Church. She loved to sing for the Lord. Mrs. Mullins was a 1967 graduate of Clintwood High School. Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her father, Ray Dixon and a brother, Bill Dave Short. Survivors include her husband, Danny Mullins of Clinchco, Virginia; mother, Mabel Dixon of Clintwood; three sons, Shane Mullins and wife Debbie, Jason "Bubby" Mullins and wife April, Steve Mullins all of Clintwood; one brother, Johnny Ray Dixon and wife Pat of Charleston, South Carolina; three sisters, Dotty Bostic and husband Stuart, Kaye Buchanan and husband David and Connie Willis and husband Greg all of Clintwood; five grandchildren, Gabby Mullins, Ashleigh Mullins, Makayla Mullins, Derrick Mullins and Kandice"City"Mullins; three step-grandchildren, Kim Hilliards, Brittney Hilliards, and Jake Hilliards; several nieces and nephew; a host of other relatives and special friends, Wayne and Pam Mullins. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 13, at 1:00 pm in the Clinchco Missionary Baptist Church with Pastors Randy Moore and Joe Glenn Sluss officiating. Burial will follow in the Fleming Cemetery on Rose Ridge. Pallbearers will be Don Mullins, Voyd Clifton, Eugene Mullins, Greg Willis, David Buchanan, Martin Hawkins, Stuart Bostic, Scott Stidham and Aaron Williams. Honorary pallbearers, Palmer Rose, Dr. N.C. Ratliffe, Ray Hughes, members of the Clinchco Missionary Baptist Church and Clintwood High School Class of 1967. Visitation will be at the church 6:00 pm Thursday evening with a service beginning at 7:00 pm.
