Nannie Judy (Barton) Counts, 59 years of age of Nora, VA, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. Born December 11, 1962 in Bee, VA, she was the daughter of the late Mary Surrett and Henry Barton. Judy dearly loved all her brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren and special friend Ralph Dunford.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her sons Adam Owens and Michael Travis Counts.

Survivors include daughter Cindy Reynolds (husband Arthur), son Jodie Owens (wife Sue), daughter Rebecca Mengelt, son James Counts (wife Carrie), as well as several beloved grandchildren.

Judy came from a very large loving family which included: sister Donna Barton Duncan (husband Bill), sister Brenda Barton Wilson (husband Butch), sister Wanda Barton Matney, sister Virginia Surrett, brother James Surrett, sister Vivian McConnell, sister Kathy Sullivan (husband Don), brother Ronnie Barton (wife Twyla), brother Timmy Barton (wife Rachelle), and sister Phyllis Johnson.

Funeral service for Nannie Judy (Barton) Counts will be held Thursday, March10th, at Noon at the Clintwood Colley Funeral Home of Clintwood, VA, with Danny Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Duty View Cemetery, Bee VA.

Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Clintwood Colley Funeral Home from 11 am until time of service.
