Juanita Stanley age 96, passed away Friday, May 4th at Heritage Hall in Clintwood.  She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a member of Valley View Freewill Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Stanley; her parents, Ralph and Daisy Fleming Vanover; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Stanley is survived by one son, Jim Stanley of Clintwood; one daughter, Judy Ruth Adkins and husband Jay of Fredericksburg; 2 granddaughters, Tracy Erdman of Stafford, Virginia and Amy Kile (Bill) of Bumpass, Virginia; one great granddaughter, Jennifer Dumire of Spotsylvania, Virginia and one great-great granddaughter, Gabriella Rose Dumire of Spotsylvania, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 13th at 10 AM at the Vanover Family Cemetery with Pastor Lynn Vanover officiating.
