Juanita Hoskins Parrigan age 89, passed away Sat. May 24, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born in Lee County the daughter of the late Esau and Minnie Miracle Hoskins. She made her home in Clintwood, Virginia for many years and was a member of the Greorges Fork Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Parrigan was preceded in death by her parents, Esau and Minnie Hoskins; daughter, Dorothy Slone; six brothers, Hobert, Wana, Hillard, Otis, Evart, Robert (Bob) Hoskins; one sister, Nellie Hoskins Addington. Survivors include three grandchildren, David Slone and wife September of Kendallville, Indiana, Crystal Meyers and husband Benjamin of Auburn, Indiana and Lindsey Smith and husband Robert of Ashley, Indiana; nine great grandchildren and special caregiver, Judy Stevens. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27th, 11:00 am in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Manie Strouth, Estley Ratliff, Glen Slemp and Samuel Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Fleming-Mullins Cemetery on Georges Fork. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 6:.00 pm, Monday, May 26th at the funeral home. A service will begin at 7:00 pm.
