Obituary

Juanita Fleming Mullins, 77, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015. Mrs. Mullins was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and attended Georges Fork Freewill Baptist Church. She was an employee of Piggly Wiggly for twenty years and Edwards Food Center for eight years. Mrs. Mullins was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Georgia Fleming; son, Dennis Mullins; four great grandchildren, Ariel Porter, Alex Porter, Spencer Mullins, and Isabella Mullins; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband, Morrison Mullins of Clintwood; son, Donald Mullins and wife Cheryl; three daughters, Sherry Counts and husband Jimmy of Haysi, Virginia, Karen Meade and husband Eddie of Wise, Virginia, Veronica Rasnick and husband Dwaine of St. Paul, Virginia; three brothers, Virgil Fleming of Clintwood, Ronald Farris Fleming of Haysi, and Jimmy D. Fleming of Battle Creek, Michigan; one sister, Margaret Wigginton of Clintwood; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 10th at 11:00 AM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Dewey Fleming Cemetery, Osborne Gap. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends, Monday, February 9th after 6:00 pm at the funeral home. A song service will begin at 8:00 pm.
