Jonathan Lee Rose age 28 passed away June 18, 2016. He was a 2005 graduate of Clintwood High School and a graduate of Tri County Driving Academy. Jonathan was a loving son, brother, father, and nephew. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Vernon and Nannie Belle Rose and John and Clara Pratt, Jr.; one uncle, Ronald Dean Rose; best friend, Travis Wright.

Survivors include his parents Joe Rose of Clintwood and Barbara Pratt Rose of Pound; fiancé Kara West and daughter Heidi Taylor Rose of Pound; brother, Jason Rose of Pound; several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 22nd from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 3:00 PM Thursday, June 23 rd , to proceed to Rose Family Cemetery, Hillside Farm Road for graveside services, Lester Mullins and Darrell Milgrim will officiate. Pallbearers will be Bryan Rose, Matthew Rose, Aaron Rose, Andrew Rose, Bryson Rose, Mason Rose and Wayne Grosso. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Pratt and employees of McClure Concrete.
