John J. Trivitt age 75, passed away Sunday July 22, 2007 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born December 21, 1931 at Darwin the son of the late James A. and Draxie Trivitt. He was retired from the United States Army and a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Cumberland Church of the Brethren. He is preceded in death by his parents, One daughter Valerie K. Trivitt along with three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include one son Noah Trivitt of California, two daughters Catherine and Diane Trivitt both of San Antonio, TX. Along with several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services for John J. Trivitt will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday July 26, 2007 at the Clintwood Funeral Home with Harold Rose, Jack Taylor and Blake Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Yates Family Cemetery at Lower Georges Fork. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Yates, Gary Yates, Ronnie Yates, Jarvis Cox, Kermit W. Cox, Josh Cox, Chris Anderson, Matt Baker, Andy Mullins and Jimmy Baker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kermit Yates and Rich Hedderman.
