John Kyle Branham age 84, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Mr. Branham was a graduate of Dickenson Memorial High School and East Tennessee State University where he earned a Chemistry Degree.  He returned to Clintwood in 1961 to keep the family business, the White Star Café, open.  Mr. Branham was a loving son, brother and uncle.

Mr. Branham was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bertha Branham and two sisters, Jane Branham Stanley and Allene Reedy.

Survivors include his nephew, Harold Scott Stanley and wife Keeta of Clintwood; niece, Amanda Baker and husband Bob of Clintwood; great-nephew, Logan Baker; brother-in-law, Harold Stanley and a host of friends in the Clintwood Community.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
