Obituary

John Emory Baker age 39 died August 2, 2006 in Tazewell, Virginia as result of injuries received in an automobile accident. He was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy "Cumberland Mountain Rangers" and a member of Local 45 of the Boilermakers Union, Richmond, Virginia. He is survived by his parents John Preston Baker, Clintwood, and Margaret Jane Perry, Boydton, Virginia. His son John Daniel Baker of Clintwood, one brother Jeff Mullins, Clintwood, Teresa Lee Baker, San Antonio, Texas, Helena Marie Baker, Clintwood, Jessica E. Baker of Boydton, Virginia. Grandmother Naomi Johnson, Columbus, Ohio. Along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Funeral Services for John Emory Baker will be conducted at 1:00 Sunday August 6th at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Franklin Hall and Kenneth Childress officiating. Burial will follow in the Baker Family Cemetery on Rose Ridge, Graveside rites and Pallbearers will be the Sons of the Confederacy. The family will receive friends Saturday evening at the Clintwood Funeral Home after 6:00 PM with a song service at 7:00 PM.
