Joann Elizabeth Hall 89, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by family.  She was a devoted Christian, a member of Pine Creek Freewill Baptist Church and Ladies Circle.  She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Valley View Freewill Baptist Church.  Joann was the embodiment of a godly woman with unwavering faith, dedication to family and a lifetime of service.  She was a faithful and committed wife of seventy-two years.  She leaves a lasting legacy of love, compassion and honesty.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Dixie Graham; infant daughter, Margaret Nadene; siblings, Bruce, Fred, Hamp, George and Troy Graham, Ruby Mullins and Tennie Hall.

Survivors include her husband, Andy Hall; children, Frank and Carolyn Hall, Phyllis and Gary Mullins, Raymond and Kitty Hall, Ronnie and Teresa Hall, Patty Mullins, Chris and Emily Hall; twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren; special friends, Tennessee Kendrick and Inetta Mullins, along with a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 25th, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Valley View Freewill Baptist Church, with services to follow at 7 PM.  Funeral services will be conducted, at the church, Tuesday, March 26th, 11 AM with Lynn Vanover, Joe Glenn Sluss and Manie Strouth officiating, Interment will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery, Osborne Gap Road.  Pallbearers are Brian Hall, Bradley Hall, Andrew Hall, Jason Hall, Daniel Hall, John Fryatt, Steven Fryatt, David Hall, Steven Hall, Will Kendrick and Brice Hall.
