Jimmy Wayne Parrigan age 73, passed away Friday Aug. 26, 2011 at the Indian Path Medical Center, Kingsport, TN. He was a life long resident of Clintwood, a veteran of the US Army and a retired contractor. He is preceded in death by his parents Alvin Parrigan and Eura Stanley Parrigan, one brother Kenneth Parrigan and one niece Gail Jones. Survivors include his wife Gay Nell Parrigan, one daughter Joyce and husband Herbert Dotson all of Clintwood, two grandsons Shawn Dotson, Clintwood and Brian Dotson of Staunton, VA. two brothers Archie Parrigan and wife Faye, and Gary Winston Parrigan all of Clintwood, two sisters Jerleen Jones, Lumberton, NC and Wanda Artrip of Clintwood, two great grandsons Taylor Dotson and Ethan Dotson. Funeral services for Jimmy Wayne Parrigan will be conducted Sunday 7:00 PM Aug. 28th, 2011 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Mullins officiating. Burial will be Monday, August 29th at Temple Hill Memorial Park Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Anyone wishing to join the procession to the cemetery meet at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends after 6 PM Sunday evening at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel.
