Jimmy Jerry Mullins age 83, passed away Mon. March 25, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. He was a lifelong resident of Mullins Ridge and a loving father, brother and grandfather and friend to all. A devout Christian and member of Mt. View Freedom of Worship Church, where he loved his church and church family.  He is preceded in death by his parents Jimmy Burns and Thelma Sliger Mullins, one daughter Tammy Reed, two brothers Bob Mullins and George C. Mullins along with an infant sister.

Survivors include his wife Betty Mullins, son Tim Mullins and wife Kitty, one daughter Dollie "Dot" Cantrell and husband Floyd, one brother Mack Mullins all of Clintwood, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Special care givers daughter-in-law Kitty Mullins and grandson Daniel Reed.

Funeral services for Jimmy J. Mullins will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thurs. March 28, 2019 at the Mt. View Freedom of Worship Church with Pastor Larry Younce officiating. Burial will follow at the Mullins Family Cemetery, The Lake Road Clintwood. Pallbearers will be Steve Blansett, Daniel Reed, Jimmy Davis, Jermy Reed, Scott Davis and Bradley Blansett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Floyd Cantrell, Steven Johnson, George Mullins Jr., Jackie Willis, Kenny Edwards, Jr. Deloach, Harold Stanley, Steve Lyall, Jerry Lyall, Roy Lyall and Maurice Sykes. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till service time.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family of Jill Hamilton.
