Jimmy Ray Lothery, Jr., "Jimbo",  age 50, passed away Friday, May 08, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Jimmy was a building contractor, who was a "Jack of all trades."  He enjoyed his family and friends, building projects and life. Jimmy helped anyone who needed help.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lothery and grandson, Braxton.

Survivors include his father Jimmy Lothery, Sr. and Shelda of Clinchco; wife, Angel Lothery of Clinchco; son, Dustin Lothery of Clinchco; daughter, Destinie Lothery and Nick of Clinchco; sisters, Peggy Green and Richie  and Debra Green and Darrell, all of McClure; grandchildren, Colton, Gunner, Parker and Tuckston; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, May 17th, 7 pm at Buffalo Church with Verlin Deel Jr. and James Swiney officiating, Visitation will begin at 5 pm and last until time of service. Burial will be held Monday, May 18th,  2 pm at Sutherland Cemetery, Sutherland Ridge Road. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
