Jeffrey Johnson, 56, of Clayton NC walked thru the gates of Heaven to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. He was a sweet and kind hearted man with a fantastic sense of humor who loved his family.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Nelma Mullins and Everette Johnson; two brothers, Gerald and Donovan; three sisters, Kate, Marsha and Mildred Hoeppner; stepson Cody.

Survivors include his daughters, Katelyn of Clayton, NC and Kristen (fiancé Dalton Miller) of Box Springs, GA; two sons, Joshua (Amber) of Newton, NC and Jeffrey Sykes (Susan) of Big Stone Gap, VA; one brother, Harold (Debbie) of Goshen, IN; two sisters, Jequita of Goshen, IN and Louise Mullins (Mike Giles) of Flowery Branch GA; special niece and caregiver Christy Dinneen Ramos (Mike) and special great niece Lauren; ten grandchildren, Sebastian, Ethan, Azura, Isaac, Hayden, Lucas, Caroline, Landon, Caroline, Alexa, Natalie and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will celebrate Jeffrey's life at 11:00 AM Sunday, January 29, 2017 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tommy Austin officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Mullins Family Cemetery in the Bear Pen Section of Clintwood immediately following with family and friends as pallbearers.
