John Byran Stanley age 52, passed away at Holston Valley Medical Center Sunday, November 11, 2018.  J.B. was a lifelong resident of Clintwood and was an employee of Asplundh Tree Service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vollie and Edna Mae Stanley and one brother, Scotty Stanley.  Loving husband of Pamela Stanley.

Survivors include his step-daughter, MaKayla Horne of Nora, Virginia; one brother, Cecil Stanley and wife Helen of Bellview, Michigan; one sister, Ginger Kendrick and husband Tommy of Clintwood; John Pennington a special adopted son,  several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday November 18, 2018 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Damron officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until service time.
