Jayson Lyn Rose, age 46, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 24 , 2013. Mr. Rose was of the Christian faith. He was a former employee of Clintwood Garment Company and was last employed as Laundry Manager at Red Onion State Prison. Mr. Rose was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clemont and Nerva Bowman Rose, his mother Carolyn Rose and his uncle Kelsey Rose. Survivors are his wife, Jerlene Rose; two sons, Justin Rose and wife Carissa of Coeburn and Brandon Rose of the home and girlfriend Alyssa Lawson; one special grandson, Noah Rose and a granddaughter on the way; one brother, David Rose and wife Renona of Clintwood; special cousin, Gregory Rose of Clintwood; two uncles, Kilby Rose and wife Lois of Mansfield Ohio, Junior Rose and wife Shary of Belleville, Ohio; four aunts, Connie Rose of Clintwood, Thelma Poland of Mansfield, Ohio, Lucille Phipps and husband Ken of Port Orchard, Washington and Perlee Keith of Parma, Ohio; two special nephews, David Kyle Rose and Daniel Rose both of Clintwood; one special niece, Brittney Rose of Clintwood and several cousins. The family would like to give a special thanks to Ron and Eliza Peters, Food City, Hill Ridge Church and to those who prepared the grave. Services will be conducted, Friday, November 29th, 2013 at 7:00 pm in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Austin officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 30th, to proceed to Stonewall Rose Cemetery for graveside services beginning at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Friday after 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Justin Rose, Brandon Rose, Daniel Rose, Frank Fleming, Glen Fleming and Greg Rose.
