Janice Bise Greer age 75, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center, Norton, Virginia. Mrs. Greer was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and had lived in Clintwood for fifty-four years.  She was a member of Peuther Chapel Freewill Baptist Church for many years and was a loving mother and a friend to many.

Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Martha Bise; husband, James Greer; half-sister, Connie Anderson.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Gilliam and husband Jim of Richmond, Virginia; brother, Denny Bise of Clinchco, Virginia; sister, Linda Bise of Clinchco, Virginia; special friends and caregivers, Burl and Rosalee Mooney, Sue Rose and Bobby Hammons; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 3rd at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Love, Temple Hill Memorial Gardens, Castlewood, Virginia.  Joe Glenn Sluss will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Southwest Virginia Cancer Center, Norton, Virginia.
