Janet Yvonne Anderson age 65, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017. Mrs. Anderson was born in Neon Kentucky and had lived in Clintwood since 1988. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her father, Carter Hall.

Survivors include her mother, Eula Hall of Walens Creek, Kentucky; husband Grant Andrerson of Clintwood; two sons, David Anderson and wife Ellane of Jonesville, Virginia, Stephen Anderson and wife Amanda of Tucson Arizona; grandson, Bentley Anderson; 4 brothers and 7 sisters.

Family and friends are requested to meet at the Newberry Family Cemetery, Blowing Rock Community, Thursday, January 5th at 11:00 AM for a graveside service. Services will be conducted by John Farmer. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society.
