James E. Vanover, age 66, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Jimmy was a member of the Valley View Freewill Baptist Church, a 1964 graduate of Clintwood High School and a retiree of ITT Corporation. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. Mr.Vanover was preceded in death by his parents, Grayson and Maggie Mooney Vanover and one brother, David G. Vanover. He is survived by his brother, Roger Vanover and wife Juanita of Bristol, Virginia; one nephew, Josh Vanover; several aunts and uncles plus a host of other relatives. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, December 7th at 1:00 pm in the Temple Hill Chapel of Love, Castlewood, Virginia with Lynn Vanover and Willie Stanley officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 am until 11:45 am in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request a memorial contribution be made to the Valley View Freewill Baptist Church, PO Box 594, Clintwood, Virginia.
