James Rickey Kinney age 70, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at his residence. Mr.  Kinney was born in Trammel and lived in Michigan for several years. He worked in the construction industry and enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.

Mr. Kinney was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Silva Kinney; sister, Brenda Howard; brother, Sweet Pea Kinney; three children, James Kinney, Ricky Tucker and Brenda Tucker.

Survivors include one son, James Costanza and Jennie of Mount Clemons, Michigan; three daughters, Glinda Kay Smith and Bobby of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Regina Burke of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Jessica Costanza of Michigan; two brothers, Jerrod Ted Kinney and Mark Kinney, both of Richmond, Virginia; one sister, Debbie Kinney of Richmond, Virginia; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 18 ^th from 6 pm until 8 pm, at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 am on Wednesday, May 19 ^th , to proceed to Neece Cemetery, Bear Ridge Road, Dante, for graveside services at 11 am. Services will be conducted by Mike Stidham.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
