James Edward Kelley age 80, passed away Thur. Jan. 18, 2024 at his home. He was the son of the late James and Louise Kelley, a graduate of Clintwood High School, served his country as a veteran of the US Army. James was a retired coal miner and of the Baptist Faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Trudy Kelley, one son James B. Kelley, two daughters Kimberly Kelley Nickles and husband Gary, Bristol, VA. and Tracie Kelley  Haysi, VA. Two brothers Gary Kelley and Trent Kelley of Castlewood,VA. three sisters Dorothy Adkins and Vonda Nowlin of Clintwood and Linda Clark of Winchester, KY.. Four Grandchildren Logan and Mason Nickles and Tyler and Isabelle Kelley.

A  Memorial Service will be held Wed. Jan. 24, 2024 at 6 PM Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Harmon officiating. The family will have visitation from 5 PM till service time.
