James Richard Green age 60, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Dickenson Community Hospital, Clintwood.  Mr. Green was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and attended Ervinton High School. He was an auto mechanic.

Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents, Gallie and Agnes Green; three sisters, Irene Stanley,  Goldie Faye Harvey and Lola Jean Tiller; one brother, Paul Mitchell Greene.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Green of Clintwood; step-daughter, Destiny Lee Desoto of Haysi; four brothers, Buddy Greene and wife Scharlene, Jerry Mack Greene, Cecil Wayne Greene, all of Clintwood and Gallie Greene, Jr. of Lebanon, Virginia; six sisters, Joann Sullivan and husband Samuel of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Stella Smith of Burr Hill, Virginia, Lucille Dotson and husband Earl of Cleveland, Virginia, Nancy Keys and husband Joe of Bluff  City, Tennessee, Elizabeth Bowman and husband Larry of Clintwood, Sharon Scott and husband David of Oakwood, Virginia; four step-grandchildren, Austin Lee Stiltner, Dareain Stiltner, Samuel Kennedy and  Kameron Kennedy ; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
