Jacqueline B. Taylor, age 81, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Norton Community Hospital, Norton, Virginia. She was born on January 16, 1931, daughter of the late Ross and Nora Mullins Branham. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Otto Taylor and grandson, Christopher Rakes. Survivors include three daughters; Sandra Taylor of Roanoke, Virginia, Karen Mullins and husband Joe of Clintwood, Tammy Mullins and husband Jamie of Bedford, Virginia; four grandchildren, Matthew Mullins, Jackie Mullins, Brett Mullins and Hannah Mullins; three sisters, Betty Artrip and Bildean Artrip of Clintwood and Cora Hill of Iron Station, North Carolina; one brother, David Branham of Clintwood. Receiving of friends will be 6:00 pm on Friday, May 11th, with funeral services conducted by Jack Taylor at 7:00 pm in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 12:30 pm on Saturday, May 12th, to proceed to Phipps Memorial Cemetery for graveside services. Pallbearers will be Joe Mullins, Matt Mullins, Jamie Mullins, Jerry Artrip, Joseph Cottle, Brett Mullins and Tommy Phipps.
