Jacqueline Ramey Bratcher, born August 13, 1944 in Clintwood, passed away March 28, 2014 at Heritage Hall Health Care Center. She resided in Falls Church, Virginia and returned home to Clintwood in 2013. Mrs. Bratcher was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bratcher. Mr. Bratcher was a retired decorated police officer with the Alexandria Police Department. She was also predeceased by her mother, June Ramey and her sister Nell. Survivors are her daughter, Wendy; two sisters, Faye Thompson, Nadine Nead and husband Ed; four brothers, Crawford Ramey and wife Marcie, Eddie Ramey and wife Linda, Freddie Ramey and wife Zella and Benny Ramey. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014, 11:00 pm at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Harold Rose officiating. Mrs. Bratcher will be laid to rest with her husband Arthur Bratcher who passed away in 1997.
