Inis Bise, age 98, of Mohawk, TN, formerly of Clintwood, VA, passed away Friday morning at home.

She was a homemaker and a member of Peuther Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Clintwood. While living in Mohawk, she attended Mohawk Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Mary and Bill Harmon of Mohawk; one son and daughter-in-law: Larry and Janie Bise of Bristol; one grandson and his wife: Teddy and Jenny Harmon; one great-granddaughter, who was the light of her life: Milly Harmon all of Mohawk; sister-in-law: Janet Lester of Seymour; several nieces and nephews; special friend: Jennifer Harmon.

Inis was preceded in death by her husband: Cecil Bise in 2005; parents: Ed and Myrtle Lester; three sisters: Gladys Presley, Pearl Reedy, and Nadine Leasure; two brothers: Buddy Lester and Harold Lester.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 p.m. on Sunday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Chris Franklin officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Peuther Chapel Cemetery in Clintwood, VA, with the Rev. Joe Sluss officiating.
