Henry Lee Stanley age 71, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Stanley was born in Clintwood and was a retired coal miner. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. Mr. Stanley enjoyed horseback riding and martial arts. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his father, Fred Stanley and grandparents.

Survivors include his mother, Irene Ratliff of Clintwood; two daughters, Trena Stanley Ward and Tenka Stanley; four brothers, Clay, Perry, Jerry and Eric Ratliff; two sisters, Sandra Mullins and Victoria Boggs; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews other relatives and special companion, Rhonda Baker.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 5 ^th , 1 pm at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Carter officiating. Visitation will begin at Noon until time of service. Burial will follow at the Mullins Cemetery on Cutters Creek. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
