Grant Anderson age 72 passed away Wed. July 24, 2019 at the Select Specialty Hospital, Bristol, TN.

He was born Pound, VA., retired from the United States Army in 1988 where he served his country in Vietnam, Europe, Asia and Alaska. After service he worked and retired with the Virginia Department of Corrections. A loving husband, father and friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his mother Victoria Mullins and his wife Janet Anderson along with two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his sons David Anderson and wife Ellane of Pennington Gap, VA. and Stephen Anderson and wife Amanda of Alexandria, VA.  one grandson Bently Anderson of Alexandria, VA. and one sister Ann Sanchez of San Antonio, TX. Along with Several Nieces and Nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services for Grant Anderson will be conducted at 11:00 AM Sat. July 27, 2019 at the Newberry Cemetery Blowing Rock Community with John Farmer officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the

US Army-National Guard and V.F.W. 8979 honors teams. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
