Grace Genola Counts age 96, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at her residence.  Mrs. Counts was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and attended Bear Pen School. She was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Counts loved gardening and quilting. She attended the Old Regular Baptist Church.

Mrs. Counts was preceded in death by her husband, Stanford Counts; parents, Benjamin and Cynthia Stanley Moore; son, Fred Counts; five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her son, Gary Counts of Clintwood and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 17 ^th , 12 pm at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Tarncy Mullins officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow at the Charlie Sowards Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
