Glenn Ballard Cole age 93, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Cole was born in Cabin Creek, West Virginia and was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II.  He was of the Baptist faith for sixty years and a former deacon of Garden Baptist Church and Clintwood Baptist Church.  He was a loving father and grandfather.

Mr. Cole is survived by two daughters, Catherine Cole Altizer and husband David of North Tazewell, Virginia and Rita Cole of Bluff City, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Rodney Urbani, Brad Altizer and Melonie Altizer Martin; 6 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; his brother, Ronald Cole and wife Sandra of Raleigh, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
