Glenda Carol McKenzie passed away at her home Monday April 7, 2014. Born Nov. 30, 1960 in Norton Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Rose Rakes McKenzie. She was a former employee of Clintwood Garment, McDonalds and Kingsport Press. She is survived by her aunts Faye Farmer of Clintwood, and Shirley DePriest and husband Ted of Castlewood, Virginia; two uncles, Earl McKenzie and wife Zelma and Don McKenzie all of Clintwood. Other survivors include her best friend and neighbor Lora Marie Mullins, long time friend and caregiver Betty Mann of Gate City, Virginia and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday April 11, 2014 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Muncie officiating.
